Biography:

       Syzygy is an energy being of pure malevolence. It has devastated whole worlds and destroyed many righteous heroes who attempted to stop it. Over countless worlds and countless millennia Syzygy became an expert in corrupting, possessing, and twisting those powerful enough to confront or harry it. Syzygy is cunning and vicious but centuries ago the Order of Knights Galactic defeated and trapped Syzygy in one of their fabled cosmic weapons: a pair of gauntlets. These gauntlets were given to the first Captain Jupiter by

a slain Knight; a knight who was defeated by Syzygy. After decades of valiant heroism, the first Captain Jupiter too was possessed by the creature that gave him his powers and turned him into a monstrous world-killer. Gravity Girl used her extraordinary powers to force Syzygy back into the Cosmic Gauntlets and the monster was once more contained. Avi, formerly Gravity Girl and now the new Captain Jupiter, has also been attacked by Syzygy but with the help of the Galactic Knight and the Union of Heroes she survived. That's twice she's confronted the monster and kept it at bay; can she survive a third time?
